Our Production Line
From carefully selected wood, to furniture lasting a lifetime
INwood integrates advanced automation with precision craftsmanship
INwood has over the years invested more and more into automatisation of some of the processes in the production.
INwoods production line combines traditional craftsmanship with modern technology. It begins with the careful selection of high-quality wood, ensuring that each piece starts with strong, sustainable materials.
The wood is then cut and shaped using advanced machinery, with attention to both precision and design.
Each item is thoroughly sanded and finished with stains, paints, or varnishes to highlight the wood’s natural beauty and protect it from wear. Finally, every piece goes through strict quality control before being packaged and shipped to customers.
It makes sense to automate some of the processes in the production of the furniture.
The initial processes, like forming the different components for a piece of furniture, is usually done with advanced robots.
This not only assures a certain speed in the production, but also precision.
Manual Sanding for Precision Finish
After automated processing, wooden parts are manually sanded by skilled workers to ensure a smooth finish, especially on detailed or hard-to-reach surfaces. This combines machine efficiency with handcrafted quality.

Automation
Speed and precision with multitools
A robotic arm is used in the furniture factory to transfer wooden parts between tool stations such as saws, CNC routers, drilling machines, and sanders. It picks up components with precision, ensuring safe handling and accurate placement for each processing step.
This automation speeds up production, reduces manual labor, and maintains consistent quality as parts move efficiently through cutting, shaping, and finishing stages.
