Our materials
European and North American wood is used in the production
INwood only uses the highest quality of wood to ensure strong and sturdy furniture
Each tree is different, and we attach great importance to quality. In this way, we sort the wood already during the cutting process. For frame construction, for example, we sort and use wood in quality classes A and B. For visible furniture parts, always wood of quality A.
We work with different sorts of wood:
- Oak
- Wood 2
- Wood 3
- Wood 4 [need a list]
Common for all the sorts are, that the slabs are carefully inpected and sorted, and are FSC certified.
"No tree is the same. INwood treats the wood individually and sort it according to classes."
Wood is not only a very versatile material, it is also a renewable resource
Many types of wood are strong and durable. Hardwoods, like oak, are particularly known for their long-lasting qualities.
Wood can be used for a wide range of furniture types, and is adaptable to different designs.
Wood also has a natural beauty, with unique grain patterns and colors. It can be polished, stained, or painted to match various interior design styles, from rustic to modern.
From forest to living room
The journey of wood furniture begins long before it reaches your living room. From the moment a tree is carefully harvested in a sustainably managed forest, the transformation process into a beautiful piece of furniture involves several meticulous steps that blend nature with craftsmanship.
